McCain's Losing It
61Keep Up The Great Work McCain!
Did you hear the news? Senator John McCain, the presumptive nominee of the Republican Party, claims that we can win the war in Iraq by the year 2013. I just read this report in Yahoo! news, and what I thought was most telling was that nowhere in that report did McCain give us a ballpark estimate how many more American lives will need to be shed before that day will come. The other interesting thing about this prediction is that McCain seems to be unwittingly telling us that at present we are not winning the war. So while he would like us to believe that, in 2008 his beloved surge plan is working, apparently it's not working all that great if it's going to take us another 5 years before he expects to be declaring "mission accomplished."
I can respect John McCain for not running from his record on the war. He has been unapologetically a supporter of this war since day one. However, given the fact that Americans have, by and large, decided already that we've shed enough American blood in Iraq, I really have to wonder if this guy is operating on all points when he says, "Vote for me! I'll have us out of Iraq in 5 years!"
Saying that John McCain is losing it may be generous of me, because it does imply that once upon a time he did have it to lose. I'll give him that. But comments like this make me realize a couple of things. First, if Republicans were smart, they'd be Democrats. Second, John McCain will be creamed come November.
So keep up the good work John!

Scary, but true. I've heard, on the news, there are Dems who will vote for McCain if Hillary loses. That's just too stupid for words... :( These ostrich's would rather have a war monger than a black man?
That WOULD be cool... if Hillary will do it. Personally, I would rather it be John Edwards. I think he would compliment Obama better than Clinton.
" . . . If Republicans were smart, they'd be Democrats" or maybe even Libertarians, but most certainly not John "Four-More-Years" McCain Republicans!

I just watched, not 10 minutes ago, on MSNBC's Countdown with Keith Olbermann, that McCain is backing, and defending, Gee-Duh's "no talking" stance regarding Hamas and Siria.
Has McCain always been a fear and war monger? Until recently I thought he was probably a pretty good man, and was even ok with him becoming president. But that was based on little snippets I'd heard about him here and there. Jesus, the man is as dangerous as Bush.
I'm SO GLAD he doesn't have a chance in hell of winning!...
